These were exactly what my husband was looking for! My husband is 80+ and needed "work pants" to do chores around the property - easy to pull on, bend over and pick up things, and yet lightweight for summer wear - his old Levis were too stiff. Nice stretch in the elastic waist and the fabric has a little give too. There is a zipper fly but no opening at the top of the waist to button or snap.
